WOW. What are you breeding that you need all that stuff for?

Crested geckos, gargoyle geckos, northern velvet geckos, and... I think that's it for the egg layers. XD

I'd have your half of the trade done, but I lost my razor blade so I can't cut part of it out now. D: I have to go buy a new one.

That's cool, take your time. Looks like you're quite busy. Hmm... I've never heard of Gargoyle geckos. I'm partial to regular ol' leopard geckos myself. I'd really like to get a mate for my cornsnake, but only if I can find one with his disposition.

I have a gargoyle in my gallery. :3 "Nemesis"

I was originally gonna get a leopard pair also, but I only like two colors and I don't quite like them $700 - $1,500 much. Lol

I know what you mean about temperment. I have some geckos that I hope theirs passes on to their offspring.

My leopard is a tangerine. I actually got one 2-3 summers ago, that I thought was a male. It turned out to be a super-hypo tangerine female. She was a stunning lizard, but she died of egg impaction. The breeder sent me a male, but he is heavily spotted for a tangerine. I couldn't ask for a better (or fatter) pet though. This ones a guy for sure. I thought about cresteds, but I'm settling on a bearded dragon for my next pet.

I love beardies, but I can't deal with the heat they need and the UV stuff in addition to the space they require. X_X Some of them are so colorful too.

Dude... I plan on getting one or 2 visionariums going sometime. I saved a waterdragon from petco, and he's really sick. I hope he makes it :( If not, then I'll use his lighting for my beardeds. I have a lot of stuff for reptiles and I recycle it, I'd send you some if it were what you needed on your list. :) If I ever did, I'd send it your way.

That's so sweet that you'd even consider that if you had any. :3

Oh fuck, that's tough though about your water dragon. I hope he gets well. ;_; My smallest Solomon died Friday night, right after I'd taken him to the vet for the second time and gotten an, "I don't know. Keep offering him food."
~sally-dog:iconsally-dog: May 26, 2007, 11:59:19 PM
Yeah... he's in dire straights. I have to syringe pedialyte because he's not taking water. I really hope he makes it, but it wasn't meant to be if he doesn't. I've gone through this various times with reptiles. I hate syringe feeding, because the stress of being restrained for it and the initial illness doesn't make for a good combination. Mammals are much more resilient than little lizards for the most part. PetCo sells most of their herps too young and they're highly susceptible to stress. I was hesitant to take him in because I don't want to support their ill-care, but they'd leave him there to die I'm sure.
